Brew a colored Dyestuff from herbs, then have a dyer apply it to your outfit. Here is the full path, step by step.

Overview

On Ro24 you can recolor your character's clothes. First you gather reagents and herbs, brew them into a colored Dyestuff, and finally a dyer applies that color to your outfit for a fee.

1. Gather Reagents & Herbs

Collect the base reagents and herbs. They drop from monsters, are sold by NPC tool dealers, or can be bought from other players.

2. Brew Counteragent & Mixture

Chemist Molgenstein turns reagents into the binders that every dye needs:

  • Counteragent = Alcohol + Detrimindexta + Empty Bottle + 3,000z
  • Mixture = Alcohol + Karvodailnirol + Empty Bottle + 4,000z

Before Molgenstein will help you

Molgenstein only brews after a short intro quest. First talk to Merchant Louitz (alberta_in 133, 55) in Alberta, then Aure Dupon (geffen 181, 114) in Geffen — he points you to Molgenstein on the 2nd floor of the Geffen Forge.

3. Brew the Dyestuff

Dye Maker Java Dullihan combines herbs, Counteragent (plus Mixture for the complex colors) and an Empty Bottle into the colored Dyestuff you want. Pick a color and pay the fee — full recipes are in the next section.

4. Dye Your Clothes

Bring 1 matching Dyestuff and 10,000z to Dyer Ginedin Rephere. He recolors your outfit on the spot. The palette offered depends on your job and gender.
